Write some code, do some design, and take a look at products.
The world is so big, let's play more and see more.
Desmond (the name of the protagonist in the Assassin's Creed trilogy) quietly launched his Blog, a small blog that couldn't be any smaller.
He thought that here he could freely express and write things he likes or considers "correct". No need to worry about grouping, no need to worry about formatting or length restrictions. Those who are interested will naturally come and take a look, while those who are not interested may just happen to pass by.
Of course, what may be more meaningful to him is having an environment for technical/knowledge output. Most of his time is spent on studying textbooks and coding, with little time to do the kind of organization and summarization he did in high school. He always forgets what he learned last week or last month, and sometimes he needs to find a widget or recall a principle he looked up before but doesn't know where to start. Therefore, he really hopes to have such a small repository to record the bits and pieces on his bald journey and accumulate some useful CS knowledge (not limited to this, maybe in the future he will gradually add things related to graphic design, music, animation, movies... maybe there will be some inspirational quotes left from high school or from books, hehehe). However, one concern is whether the promises made now can be fulfilled later. After all, he is not very sensitive to words (he failed the Chinese language exam in the college entrance examination) and rarely has the opportunity to express himself in writing, so... emmm... hopefully there won't be any accidents along the way... even if the updates are a bit lazy.
He had considered using note-taking software like OneNote to record these fragmented things in life and learning, but after thinking about it, he decided to create a blog. Setting aside other pros and cons, one characteristic that blogs have and other tools don't is sharing. Most of the time, the person who reads the notes is actually just oneself, provided that one still bothers to look at them. But a blog, as a miniature exhibition board/community, often allows individuals' accumulation to be shared with more people. In the field of CS, he believes this is very important (of course, it's the same in any field). It's easy to go astray by working in isolation, while progress is often easier to achieve through communication and sharing, helping people understand and master the details of a technology (TBH, due to limited personal ability and introversion, I still have a lot to improve in this aspect...). He hopes to use this platform to push himself to communicate and share, and if possible, to convey some of his persistently idealistic beliefs.
Some may wonder why he doesn't post on third-party blogging platforms like Blog Garden or CSDN, which would save time and effort. He actually considered this option before, but thought that most blog services are relatively rigid and cannot be customized as freely, so he decided to stick to the impulse of creating this handmade blog (although it's basically just using various framework templates and tweaking parameters, at least he can decide the appearance of the webpage according to his own ideas. Coincidentally, he just learned a little bit about front-end development this semester, so starting a blog may be a decent way for this inexperienced person like him to practice). As for the technical details of building this blog and the technology stack used (currently using VuePress 2.x), he will update them in future posts and continue to optimize the website's code. If he has time, he will continue to delve into front-end development (pretending to be professional, procrastinating >>>
Finally, sometimes he may be a bit emotional, so please go easy on him (he feels that his past social media posts are really "hard to look at"). He has always been sensitive and not very stable, prone to overthinking, and is also aware of the bad part hidden in his heart (sometimes feeling guilty about some things in the past, things from elementary school, middle school, and high school... still hating the people he hates, and it's almost impossible to reconcile with those who have broken off contact. The impression some people have of him is still stuck in the past). Besides that, there are many other things, such as the negative traits of his family members and his own character flaws... In short, I'm so sorry that I could not have lived like the person you expect. He always feels like he is the person who hates himself the most in the world...
Sometimes what keeps him going may be ZL and YS... the words left in his mind from past encounters, words that he will probably never hear from anyone again on his future path. "Do something well", "Love the people around you"... Sometimes, even when he is not very clear-headed, just thinking about these words can make him feel a bit more normal, and the darkness in his heart will temporarily recede...
Well, that's all for now. More words will be said slowly in the future (now suddenly recalling the title, it seems to have deviated a bit, "hello world" might become "hollow world"...
BTW
If you happen to come across this, I hope you will like this blog :)
Sweet dreams ~
